After a previous attempt to sell our primary dwelling for almost a year without any good prospects, we receive a letter in the mail for Lance Brown of ERA Wilder Realty. Back in October of this year (2005), my wife and I decided to look for some investment property and a place for our daughter to move into. During holiday in Rock Hill, South Carolina, U.S.A., we saw a property at xxxx Green Meadow Road, Rock Hill, which we foresaw could be the ideal retirement home for my wife Madeline and I. On contacting ERA Wilder Realty we were introduced to Mr Lance Brown who agreed to act for us in our negotiations with the propertys owners.
Mr Brown proved a real asset and through his expertise we were able to close on the deal within the three week period of my holiday there. As you might appreciate, we were completely in the dark over how to proceed with purchase of a property in the United States and Mr Brown lead us through the procedures, explaining every aspect of what had to be done and ensuring that all the necessary checks were completed. As a result we were able to complete the deal on our way to the airport at Charlotte on our scheduled return home to the United Kingdom.
